Youth stabbed to death

KADAPA: Kancherla Gangadhar Reddy of Gopivihar street in Pulivendula was attacked with knives and sickles by some youth after a drunken brawl late on Monday night.

Gangadhar Reddy and K. Srinivasulu, who consumed liquor together, had an altercation over a financial matter while going home. Later Srinivasulu and his accomplices Chalapati, Narayana and `Auto' Sreenu went to Gangadhar Reddy's house and repeatedly stabbed him inflicting wounds on his head, face and back, according to Pulivendula SI Ananda Rao.

The police rushed Gangadhar Reddy to Pulivendula Government Hospital on a complaint by his father Gangi Reddy.
