MANGALORE: The National Institute of Technology-Karnataka (NIT-K) will hold a five-day technology festival "Engineer 2007" from Wednesday at Surathkal near here. According to the convener of the festival Pradip Vijayan the festival will feature various events including a series of video-conferencing international technologists such as Bjarne Stroustrup of Texas A&M University, inventor of the C++ programming language. Events such as "automata", "shristhi", "symphony" and "foxhunt", underwater robotics workshop and cultural programmes will be part of the fest. The managing director of MRPL R. Rajamani will inaugurate the event.
