Mail your traffic woes to the police

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: Will solving your traffic problems be as easy as mailing to the top guys in the City Traffic Police? Well, the Police Department believes in trying and has asked the public to send traffic problems, complaints and even suggestions for improving the traffic system in the city by mailing all these to the Deputy Commissioners in charge of Traffic.

While the email ID for DCP (Traffic-1) Kripanand Tripathi Ujela will be trafficdcp1hyd@yahoo.co.in, that for Additional DCP (Traffic-1) G. Sampath Kumar Reddy will be gskr255@yahoo.co.in.

In a press release, the traffic top brass said the email system was being introduced with a view to increase the channels of communication between the public and police officials and to "satisfy them by reacting quickly" and by "reaching out to them" to redress their grievances promptly.

"People can share their traffic problems or harrowing experience with traffic, traffic men or officials.

They can make use of the two email Ids for their benefits and grievance redressal. It is promised that actionable complaints/suggestions will be attended to urgently and reply will be duly sent to the complainant," the press release said.
