Country bomb attack: 3 hurt

Thiruvananthapuram: Three women were seriously injured in a country bomb attack on their house at Chadayamangalam in Kollam district late on Tuesday. The injured were identified as Vasantha, 38, Radhamani, 40, and Chellamma, 50. They were admitted to Government Medical College Hospital here. The police were investigating Vasantha's estranged husband in connection with the incident.

Worker killed

A 35-year-old construction worker was killed when a lorry carrying bricks overturned near Chenkalchoola late on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Chandran. The police said Chandran was travelling on top of the cargo when the accident occurred.

Man falls to death

A 30-year-old man was killed when he fell off a tree near his house at Kanjiramkulam on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Biju Kumar.
