Bishnoi suspended

NEW DELHI: The Congress on Wednesday suspended Bhiwani MP Kuldeep Bishnoi from the primary membership of the party for indulging in "anti-party activities."

"For the last one year you are indulging in anti-party activities by publicly criticising [the] polices of the party and its government in the State [Haryana] and also speaking against the leadership of the party publicly. However all your allegations are found to be baseless and without any substance," the chief of the party's Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC), A.K. Antony, said in his letter to Mr. Bishnoi on Wednesday.
