Ban on kabuli chana export lifted

NEW DELHI: As a special case, the Government has decided to lift all restrictions on the export of kabuli chana (dollar gram), grown mainly in Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Earlier, the Government had lifted export curbs, but maintained quantitative restrictions of 20,000 tonnes on exports from Madhya Pradesh and 10,000 tonnes each from Andhra Pradesh.
