KOCHI: Operations of Federal Bank was affected on Wednesday as the employees, under the aegis of Federal Bank Employees Union, went on a strike on Wednesday. The union demanded the withdrawal of the suspension order issued against an employee. A press release issued by the union said the suspended employee was the all-India organising secretary of the union and had opposed the bank's outsourcing policy.
