Holiday for schools

KOCHI: All schools under the management of Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan will remain closed on Thursday on account of the hartal call given by the CPI-ML (Red Flag) in protest against the ADB loan pact signed by the State Government.

Move to accept ADB loan flayed

KOCHI: Former Supreme Court Judge V.R.Krishna Iyer has said that the accepting of the ADB loan by the Government was equal to submitting to colonialism. He was inaugurating the campaign organised by the Kerala Congress (Secular) against the ADB loan by sending 10,000 telegrammes from different parts of the State to the Chief Minister.
