Power shutdown

There will be no power supply on Thursday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of maintenance works of 11 kV line of F2 feeder of NGEF MUSS in the following areas: Balaji Layout, Abarah Reddy Layout and surrounding areas.

IIM programme

The Indian Institute of Management offers a management programme for women entrepreneurs from April 16 to May 30 to encourage, empower and educate women entrepreneurs. Stop for Shatabdi

The temporary stoppage provided for Train Nos. 2028/2027 Bangalore-Chennai-Bangalore Shatabdi Express at Bangalore Cantonment station up to March 1, has been extended up to June 30, according to a release from the South Western Railway.

Phone-in programme

The All India Radio, Bangalore, will broadcast BESCOM-sponsored live phone-in programme on Thursday between 7.45 p.m. and 8.30 p.m.. BESCOM managing director Gonal Bheemappa will answer questions from listeners. Listeners may call 22370477.

De-addiction camp

The Karnataka Alcohol Temperance Board and New Life Foundation have organised a 10-day free de-addiction camp at the latter's premises, Boovanahalli, Doddasanne Post, Devanahalli taluk.
