Seminar on yoga

CHENNAI:
The Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University will organise a national seminar on `Yoga for holistic health' here on March 10.
"The seminar is intended to fulfil the university's mandate of evolving a holistic approach to the betterment of human resources through the blend of body, mind and spirit. Experts in yoga will participate in the seminar, along with students and staff from various universities," Vice-Chancellor R. Thirumalai samy told reporters here on Thursday.
Yoga expert Mahamaharishi Paranjothiar will inaugurate the seminar at the Senate Hall of the University of Madras and give a lecture demonstration.
Over 453 students have registered themselves for the seminar, which will feature 80 papers spread over seven sessions.
