Greaves Cotton acquires German firm

CHENNAI : Greaves Cotton Ltd. has announced the acquisition of Bukh-Farymann Diesel GmbH, a Germany-based diesel engine manufacturing company. The enterprise value of this purchase, which is the company's first acquisition abroad, is around Rs. 25 crore. The acquisition was made through its wholly owned subsidiary, Greaves Cotton Netherlands B. V., says a release.
