McDonald's plans outlets in Chennai, Kerala

KOLKATA: McDonald's India is planning to open outlets in Chennai and Kerala, two States where the chain does not have a presence now. Out of its 108 restaurants in India, only seven are located in the south. Opening the first outlet in Kolkata, Vikram Bakshi, McDonald's India joint venture partner and managing director (North & east), told The Hindu that the new units would be launched in the next 2-3 years at an investment of about Rs. 400 crore.
