Puducherry : Patttali Makkal Katchi Parliamentary Party leader M. Ramadoss has stressed the need for creating a standing committee of Parliament to exclusively deal with grievances of the Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and to formulate measures to promote their welfare. The leader said in a release issued on Thursday that the United Progressive Alliance Government had been drawing up schemes for the welfare of all sections of people. Still many more schemes were needed for the welfare of the OBCs.
