NEW DELHI: Ladies European Tour star, Anna Rawson of Australia, also a professional model, has confirmed her participation in the women's Indian Open golf tournament that tees off at the DLF Golf and Country Club on March 14.

The 25-year-old Rawson finished the year 2006 on 74th position on the New Star Money List to retain her full card for the 2007 season on the European Tour. Rawson joined the growing list of European golfers who have signed for the $100,000 Indian Open, an event on the Ladies Asian Tour.

Rawason posted one top-10 and two top-20 finishes in 11 events. Her best was tied-10th at the Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss Open.

The Indian Open will be played from March 14 to 16 at the Arnold Palmer-Signature par-72 course. — Principal Correspondent
