Buenos Aires: The two-member Central Bureau of Investigation team, now here on a mission to get Italian businessman Ottavio Quattrocchi to India, visited El Dorado city in the Missiones province of Argentina and met the Public Prosecutor. He would assist the Indian Government in the extradition proceedings. Indian Ambassador Pramathesh Rath said the team visited the province to get itself briefed on the extradition proceedings. S.K. Sharma, CBI's Director of Prosecution, said it met Public Prosecutor Lilian Delgado, who was yet to get the extradition papers filed by the Indian Government before the Argentine Foreign Ministry last week. Once the judge concerned got the papers, these would be given to Mr. Delgado, he said. Mr. Quattrocchi, who was detained last month on the basis of an Interpol Red Corner Notice and released on bail with the condition that he should not leave Argentina, has been avoiding journalists who are trying to get his side of the story.
