Council poll process to end by March 29

HYDERABAD:
Elections to the Legislative Council and the announcement of the nominated members will be completed by March 29.
Protem Chairman will be sworn in at Raj Bhavan at 8.30 a.m. on April 2. Governor Rameshwar Thakur will inaugurate the refurbished Council hall at 9 a.m. the same day.
Members will be sworn in at 10.30 a.m. and nominations received for the post of the Chairman, who is to be elected at 10 a.m. on April 3. The Governor will address the joint session of the Council and the Assembly at 4 p.m. the same day.
The Council will take up a discussion on the motion of thanks at 10 a.m. on April 4. It will meet again after holidays on April 9 to continue the discussion. Chief Minister will reply to the debate the next day.
