Construction workers' protest

KOCHI: The Kettida Nirmana Thozhilali Congress, affiliated to the INTUC, will take out a march to the Secretariat and stage a dharna on March 12 to press their demand to make the Kettida Nirmana Thozhilali Welfare Board more efficient. Organisation State working president and KPCC general secretary Ajay Tharayil said at a press conference here on Thursday that the dharna would be inaugurated by Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy.

Mr. Tharayil also said the UDF had signed the ADB pact during the former Ministry's tenure without the knowledge of the Congress party.
