Third phase of land distribution on March 17

CHENNAI: The Third phase of distribution of land to landless poor will be inaugurated by Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi at Chennavaram in Tiruvannamalai district on March 17. In this phase, 25,000 acres of land will be distributed.

The Chief Minister will also initiate the second phase of distribution of free stoves with LPG connection to the poor. About 2.65 lakh families would be benefited in this phase. On the same day, Union and State Ministers will distribute free gas connection to the poor in other districts.
