Power shutdown

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in Millers Road, Aysha Hospital, 20, Millers Road Apartment and Rex Hospital in Kilpauk on Friday owing to maintenance work.

Coaching classes

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India will conduct oral coaching classes for the final stage of the company secretaryship course for June 2007 at the Southern India Regional Office (SIRC) of the institute. Medical camp

IIPM cultural

The Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM) will be organising the finale of its inter-collegiate cultural programme on Saturday at the CSI Wesley Grounds, Royapettah, with performances of Shaan, K.K. and Anuradha Sriram. John Britto's Dance Troupe will also give a special performance at the concert. Proceeds from the programme will go to `The Great Indian Dream Foundation'. Free courses

The Tamilnadu Industrial Training Centre will offer free courses in collaboration with the Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, for those with family incomes below Rs. 50,000 a year. A three-month DTP and Data Entry Operator course is offered for those who have passed Standard XII and are not older than 32 years of age and a six-month course in Front Office Operation for those who have passed Standard XII and are not older 25 years of age. Candidates may apply with their mark sheet, transfer certificate, community certificate and income certificate originals and photocopies with a self-addressed envelope affixed with a Rs. 5 stamp to Tamilnadu Industrial Training Centre, 42/25, Gee Gee Complex, Anna Salai, Chennai.
