Coimbatore: The field of nursing and paramedical sciences would face a serious demand for human resource in future especially in developed countries and students of these faculties are assured of bright career prospects, Electricity Minister Arcot N. Veerasamy said on Thursday. He was speaking at a function organised to inaugurate the new buildings of the PPG Group of Educational Institutions at Saravanampatti here.
Demand
He said that with health care gaining importance in the country and abroad, the demand for physiotherapists and paramedical staff would constantly be on the rise and students of this field could be assured of placements in India as well as in overseas countries that look for such human resource. Minister for Rural Industries Pongalur N. Palanisamy and Highways Minister M.P. Saminathan said that it was the DMK Government that paved the way for opening of more such institutions in this region.
