"Remove cows from VIP bungalows"
NEW DELHI:
The Delhi High Court on Thursday directed the NDMC to remove all cows from bungalows in Lutyen's zone and other areas under its control.
``You pass an order to remove the cows from the VIP houses and you revoke their licenses (for dairy business),'' a Division Bench comprising Justice Swatanter Kumar and Justice H R Malhotra said in a direction to the NDMC Chairperson.
The Court observed that nothing would come in the way of implementing the decision on the issue and said, ``You take the policy decision and we would rectify it.'' NDMC Chairperson Sindhusree Khulla, who was directed to be present in the Court, said 12 dairies were operating within NDMC area out of which only three were valid and rest of them were doing business illegally.- PTI
