Gang involved in stealing laptops busted

HYDERABAD: The city police on Thursday busted a gang of five youngsters allegedly involved in stealing laptops and mobile phones of bachelors. Three stolen laptops, 23 mobile phones and a motorcycle were recovered from the arrested persons, the Commissioner's Task Force officials said.

All of them work as salesmen in different shops and live at Erragadda. Sk. Saleem and Shareef, who were earlier arrested on a similar charge, joined hands with the other three persons - Imran Khan, Razzaq Ali and Masroor - to commit the thefts. They targeted bachelors living in rented houses and used to enter the houses in the early hours when the latter would be asleep.
