Two killed in road accident

BANGALORE:
Two persons were killed in as many road accidents in the city on Wednesday. Suma Prasanna (31) was killed on the spot after a lorry rammed her scooter on J.P. Nagar Ring Road around 2.15 p.m. The Jayanagar traffic police have registered a case.
Sharan (20), a worker, was killed after a lorry hit his bicycle on Marathalli Outer Ring Road around 6 p.m. The Airport traffic police have registered a case.
Falls to death
A construction worker, Bobby (25), was killed after he fell from the seventh floor of an apartment under construction in Mangammanapalya, off Hosur Road, on Wednesday night. The Madivala police have registered a case.
Motorcycles recovered
The Magadi Road police have arrested two youths on charges of vehicle theft and recovered from them 26 motorcycles, together estimated at Rs. 10 lakh.
The police gave their names as Raja (19) of Sriramapuram and M. Kamal (19), a mechanic and a resident of K.P. Agrahara. They had allegedly stolen the vehicles from the city and sold some of them in Tamil Nadu.
