List of tsunami-hit families eligible for shelters

Chennai: The Chennai Collectorate has released the draft list of tsunami-affected families for which permanent shelters have been proposed in Domingkuppam, Nochikuppam and Nochi Nagar.

A release here said the list had been displayed in the localities where the families live.

The list has also been on display in the following places: Chennai Collectorate; Tahsildar's Office, Mylapore - Triplicane Taluk; Chennai Corporation Zone 10 Office, Lattice Bride Road, Adyar; Ward 145 office, 4, Kamaraj Salai; D5 Police Station, Marina Beach; E1 Police Station, Mylapore and the Slum Clearance Board on Kamarajar Salai.

Any complaints about non-inclusion of names must be submitted, along with documentary proof, to the Collectorate or the Tahsildar's Office by March 14, after which the final list would be prepared, the release added.
