dated March 10, 1957: Soviet plane for Nehru

The Soviet Government have offered a new Ilyushin aircraft to Prime Minister Nehru to replace the Meghdoot which met with an accident on February 26, 1957. This offer has been gratefully accepted by the Prime Minister. The accident to the Meghdoot is being fully enquired into and Russian engineers have already arrived to join in this enquiry.
