Apollo launches mobile breast clinic

HYDERABAD: Apollo Hospitals has launched a mobile breast clinic, which will be linked to the hospital via a satellite link.

According to an Apollo statement, the clinic would comprise screening using a mobile screening unit equipped with mammography and ultrasound, which would be linked to the main hospital where diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, along with rehabilitation unit would be available.

Breast preserving treatment options, cosmetic reconstruction options and psychological counselling would be offered. A comprehensive breast check, would be offered at Rs. 500. Further details were available over telephone number 040-23548888.
