Puducherry: The Gujarat Emporium is conducting a 15-day exhibition cum sale of handlooms and handicrafts at S.S. Tirumana Nilayam on Sardar Vallabbhai Patel Salai here from Friday. Its manager K. Arunachalam said that the fair was sponsored by the Development Commissioner of Handicrafts in the Union Textiles Ministry, New Delhi. Variety of products of Gujarat as well as Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Orissa and New Delhi are on display. It would be open every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
