Oyster Cove for Sprinters, Aperitivo for Stayers

KOLKATA: Oyster Cove looks best among the eight runners in the fray for the Nanoli Stud Sprinters' Cup (1,200m) while Aperitivo runs with a good chance in the Olympia Technology Park Stayers' Cup (3,000m), the stellar events of the pre-invitation day races to be held here on Saturday (March 10).

There will be no false rails.

The carried over Jackpot of Bangalore races (Nov. 25, 2006) amounting to Rs. 3,42,881 (gross) will be added to the collection of the Jackpot of Calcutta races to be held on March 10 and the carried over Tanala of Pune races (Oct. 29, 2006) amounting to Rs. 1,18,450 (gross) will be added to the collection of the Tanala pool of the sixth race today.
