KORAPUT: Poor tribal patients of Koraput region have been suffering due to non availability of specialits in the district headquarters hospital here. As the post of anaesthesia has been vacant for the last many months, the doctors prefer to refer them to other places like Berhampur or Visakhapatnam knowing well that the patient goes back to his home for his inability to afford to go anywhere else. .In addition to this, the only child specialist retired from service last month. All the three ADMOs' posts in the district are also not filled since long.
