NIZAMABAD: A 32-year-old man Gaddela Venkataramana, resident of Venkateswara Colony in Armoor town, allegedly murdered his wife Tulasi (28) and two daughters Charanya Sri (9) and Sai Sri (7) at their house in the wee hours of Friday. The scene of offence visited by the police led by Deputy SP J. Hathiram indicated that the accused, to make it appear like a suicide pact, poured poison into the mouths of the victims after killing them and later consumed it himself. "Prima facie it is a clear case of murder. The accused apparently strangulated them to death. On Tulasi's throat there is a deep gash, which might have been caused by a sharp blade," according to the DSP. The accused was saved, as family members immediately shifted to hospital. The DSP said he (Venkataramana) admitted that he killed the two children as their mother died after consuming poison. Venkataramana said he committed the offence unable to bear the pressure from his company to pay Rs. 70,000 that he misappropriated.
