CHENNAI: Celebrities on Friday autographed an 18 feet long bat that is being taken across the country as a sort of talisman to bring the cricket World Cup home.

The `CEAT Cricket Ratings Billion Man Bat' will touch various cities and gather signatures of droves of cricket fans in a good luck campaign for the Indian cricket team organised by the tyre major from the stable of RPG enterprises.

Among those who signed on the giant bat were playback singers SPB Charan and Tippu, music composer Harris Jayaraj, and actors Karan and Prasanna.
