Petitions against CET abolition

CHENNAI:
The Madras High Court on Friday admitted for hearing a batch of public interest litigation petitions against the Government's move to abolish Common Entrance Test for professional course admissions this year.
Posting the matter for March 29 for arguments, the First Bench comprising Chief Justice A.P. Shah and Justice K. Chandru also permitted private notice to the All India Council for Technical Education and the Council of Architecture on the petitions filed by Madan Mohan and A.S. Prabu, among others.
