`Vanaja' corners glory

HYDERABAD: After making a splash at Berlin Film Festival, non-resident Telugu Rajnesh Domalpalli's maiden film `Vanaja' has reaped a rich harvest at the 17th Cairo International Film Festival for children, which concluded on Thursday. The film won the prizes of the International Centre of Films for Children and Young People and the International Jury. Egyptian Minister for Culture Farouk Hosni gave away the prizes at a function held in Cairo Opera House.

It had three screenings during the weeklong festival.
