Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited (KMML) is trying to bring down its cost of production by increasing production and using cheaper fuel in order to make up for the reduction of import duty on titanium pigment from 12.5 to 10 per cent in the Central budget. KMML Managing Director N.R. Subramoniam said here on Friday that the production of titanium pigment, which was 3406 tonnes in March 2006, had increased to 3427 tonnes in January this year. The annual production is expected to be a record one, he said.
