Bank to open centralised processing centre

HYDERABAD: Union Bank of India, a leading public sector bank, will open a centralised processing centre in the city shortly for quick disbursal of loans for retail products.

Verification process for disbursal of EMI-based loans from the new centre, to be opened formally before March 20, will be outsourced to an external agency, according to bank Deputy General Manager C. Abraham.

He was speaking at a meeting organised in connection with the inauguration of the newly renovated Gowliguda branch of the bank here on Friday.
