An unwelcome guest

BANGALORE:
Public on Friday caught a youth who was allegedly picking pockets of the invitees at the wedding of cine artistes Rakshita and Prem at Padmavathi Kalyana Mantapa at Rajarajeshwarinagar here.
The police said the youth had picked a pocket and was having a go at another when he was caught. He was identified as Krishna (22) of Tiptur in Tumkur district.
The police recovered from him Rs. 9,500 in cash, a credit card and a driving licence that was in the name of Sanjeev Kumar.
According to an estimate, around 8,000 people attended the wedding.
