HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy has reminded district Collectors of the promises made by the Congress, and asked them to fulfil all the needs of the poor using various schemes even if it means going an extra mile. Addressing a one-day Collectors' conference here on Saturday, Dr. Reddy warned them against inflating figures to show higher achievement to please the Government, and advised them to be realistic and result-oriented. Interspersing his 50-minute speech with references to the plight of the poor, he advised Collectors not to let down any single beneficiary seeking benefits like a house.
