BJP election committee constituted

NEW DELHI: Delhi BJP president Harsh Vardhan on Monday constituted the party's Delhi Pradesh Election Campaign Committee under the chairmanship of the Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Vijay Kumar Malhotra, for conducting the entire campaign for the upcoming Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections.

The committee will have five special invitees: Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, Shatrughan Sinha, Kidar Nath Sahani and Vijay Kapoor. Comprising various senior leaders, the committee will have all the district presidents of the BJP as its members. The party said its strength might be increased further.
