NIZAMABAD: Two fishermen Peta Sailoo (25) and Ashok (20) of Kosli village in Navipet mandal were drowned in the river Godavari when the boat they used for fishing capsized on Sunday night. According to Sub-Inspector B. Srinivas Reddy, the accident occurred when a group of ten fishermen was coming back from Nayagoan in Maharashtra in two boats. The two were drowned as the boat overturned in the middle of the river. Sailoo's body was fished out and efforts were on to trace the body of Ashok, he said.
