School gets new basketball court

HYDERABAD: A basketball court and an indoor games complex were inaugurated at the Andhra Mahila Sabha P. Obul Reddy Public School, Jubilee Hills here recently.

Declaring the court -- with a seating capacity of 300 - open, IAS officer L.V. Subramanyam said that sports deserved equal encouragement along with academics as they would inculcate competitive and sporting spirit among students. AMS president Akkamma Krishna Murthy inaugurated the indoor games complex.
