HYDERABAD: Chief Justice of High Court Justice G.S. Singhvi has said that truth had quite often become a casualty in courts and public life during the last four decades.

People seemed to have given up truth, as a result of which millions suffered injustice silently, he said, inaugurating Crime Stoppers Foundation, an NGO that would pass on to the police, information received from the public about crime.

The organisation would protect the anonymity of informers. Director General of Police M.A. Basith and foundation president K.P.C. Gandhi spoke.
