YSR calls on former Minister

Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy called on former Minister Sangita Venkata Reddy, who is convalescing at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), on Monday and enquired about his health. According to an official release, he directed doctors to bestow special attention and wished Mr. Reddy a speedy recovery.

Training programme

Department of Human Development and Family Studies, College of Home Science, Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) will organise a six weeks certificate course on `Pre-Primary Teacher Training' from Thursday to March 26. Candidates who have passed class X are eligible for the training programme.

French classes

Alliance Francaise is beginning new French classes in West Marredpally and Banjara Hills from March 23, a press release from French centre informed here. Cookery classes

from tomorrow

YMCA old city Malakpet branch will organise cookery classes on non-vegetarian and sweet dishes on every Wednesday throughout March starting from March 14.

Aid given to factory worker's family

The management of Kirby Building Systems (India) Limited has presented a cheque of Rs. 15 lakhs to the family of factory worker Rajkumar who died in an industrial accident. P. Janardhan Reddy, president of the workers' union, said the cheque was given away on Monday evening.
