Letters to the Editor
This refers to the article "Appeal for grace marks" (Open Page, March 11). All religions emphasise the beneficial impact of sincere prayers. Differently put, praying is one way of producing positive vibrations within us! Alfred Tennyson's oft-quoted passage "more things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of" is an affirmation of this faith.
Parents, teachers, and students are not naïve to depend on prayers alone. We all pray that we should not face any obstacle in our day-to-day life. It is not as if we pray only before and during examinations.
