KOLKATA:The president of the world governing body of football, FIFA, Joseph Blatter will be making a four-day trip to India from April 15 to 18. This was confirmed by John Schumacher of the FIFA Media Department on Tuesday. Blatter will be the first FIFA president to visit India. With the subcontinent getting prominence in the world body's development focus, Blatter is reported to have told the AIFF president Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi during his visit in December last year to the body's headquarters in Zurch that the organisation would unveil a "future initiative" in conjunction with the Asian Football Confederation. The itinerary of the president's visit is yet to be finalised but he is expected to visit Delhi, Kolkata. Principal Correspondent
