Maken flays BJP

NEW DELHI: Union Minister of State for Urban Development Ajay Maken on Tuesday lashed out at the BJP for spreading "misinformation" on the sealing and demolition issue.

Debunking the suggestion of BJP MP Vijay Kumar Malhotra that a "general amnesty" scheme would be brought by the BJP to provide relief to the people, Mr. Maken asked: "How can a victory in the civic body ensure any amnesty if Parliament is the competent forum for any such exercise?"
