KOTTAYAM: Functioning of courts in the district headquarters here was disrupted for nearly two hours on Tuesday following a bomb hoax. According to the police, T.A. Razak, sheristadar, district courts, received a phone call by 11.45 a.m. informing him that a bomb would go off at the district court by 12 noon. The police immediately put the dog squad on alert and searched all the courts. However, nothing could be found out and by 1.15 p.m. it was announced that the call was a hoax. The courts later resumed their normal functioning.
