VIJAYAWADA: Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesperson Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday demanded that the Centre order a comprehensive inquiry into the multi-crore money laundering case involving Pune-based racehorses owner Hasan Ali Khan. Addressing a press conference here, Mr. Javadekar said that the BJP would insist on a thorough probe into the case by an official of high integrity, who could act independently. "We demand full inquiry into this. They (Government) should name all persons involved in this. It is not a simple thing, as Rs. 35,000 crores was transacted in a year," he said. He described the transfer of thousands of crores of rupees through the promissory note as a `dangerous trend' and wanted the inquiry to delve into all such aspects.
