CHENNAI: The chairman and chief gastroenterologist of MedIndia Hospitals, T. S. Chandrasekar, was elected as Honorary President, Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India (SGEI), at the Seventh Annual Conference of the SGEI held recently. The SGEI is an academic professional organisation working to propagate digestive endoscopy knowledge among young doctors and to ensure the protocols for training and safety of endoscopic practice.
