KOCHI : About 41,000 students in Ernakulam district will appear for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination beginning on Wednesday. The district administration has formed a special squad to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination. Members of the squad will check the availability of question papers in each school. They will also keep track of the performance of headmasters and teachers on examination days. The District Collector will be informed about the progress of the examination in various centres regularly. An official press release said here on Tuesday that the question papers for the first phase of the examination had already reached the examination centres. A squad led by the Deputy Director of Education in Ernakulam district will also monitor the examination.
