NEW DELHI: A delegation led by Haryana Minister of State for Tourism Kiran Choudhry held a meeting with the Tourism Consortium of Madrid in Spain on Tuesday to identify areas where technical expertise can be shared to promote tourism in Haryana. Earlier, Ms. Choudhry had met Spanish Economy and Tourism Minister Fernando Merry del Val for devising ways to promote tourism in Haryana along the lines of Madrid which is considered the second most favoured destination attracting 58 million tourists every year. Ms. Choudhry's delegation also met Francisco Frangialli, Secretary General of WTO. Haryana's Secretary (Tourism) Keshni Anand Arora gave a presentation on the existing facilities with respect to tourism in Haryana and highlighted the concept behind the Surajkund Crafts Mela.
